Why Golf Putting at work
A putting mat takes almost no space to set up, and a short putting round can fit easily into a break without much planning. A few good putts decide the round more than raw power or reflexes, which keeps the format approachable across skill levels.
How it works in Office Sports
Enter the strokes for each hole once your round is finished, and Office Sports compares your total against your opponent's - the lower total wins, while equal totals draw. Your rating points update immediately, and your leaderboard position updates right away.
Leagues
A putting league works well for steady, drop-in participation - players log a round whenever the putting mat is free, and every result updates the same rating points and leaderboard. Because results accumulate over many rounds, the competition rewards consistent play.
Tournaments
Formal golf putting tournaments are not currently supported because golf putting is singles-only. A putting day or season finale still works well as ongoing league play, with rating points and the leaderboard updating after every round.
Fair rankings, automatically
Rating points reflect the opponents you face and your results, not just how many matches you win. Posting the lower total against a stronger opponent earns more points than beating someone rated below you.
