Configure Chess outcome-based scoring and draw policy.
Chess uses outcome-based scoring with win, draw, or loss results. Unlike points-based sports, you simply record who won the game or if it ended in a draw.
Configuration options
Draw policy
Choose whether matches can end in a draw or if a winner is always required.
Round names
Customize the singular and plural labels for rounds (e.g., "Game" / "Games").
Score limits
Optionally set minimum and maximum allowed scores (not typically used for Chess).
What's fixed
For preset sports like Chess, the core scoring method is locked. You cannot change how rounds are scored, how the match winner is decided, or the score input type. Only the numeric values, draw policy, round names, and score limits can be edited.
Entering match results
When logging a match, you'll select the outcome: win, draw, or loss. No numeric scores are entered since Chess uses outcome-based scoring.
