Table Tennis

Configure Table Tennis scoring and round settings.

Table Tennis uses best-of-sets scoring. Each set is played to a target score (usually 11 points), and you must win by a minimum margin (usually 2 points). The first player or team to win the required number of sets wins the match.

Configuration options

Sets to win

The number of sets a player or team must win to win the match (e.g., 2 or 3).

Target score per set

The score required to win a single set (e.g., 11 or 21 points).

Win-by margin

The minimum point difference required to win a set (e.g., must win by 2 points).

Draw policy

Choose whether matches can end in a draw or if a winner is always required.

Round names

Customize the singular and plural labels for rounds (e.g., "Set" / "Sets").

Score limits

Optionally set minimum and maximum allowed scores per set.

What's fixed

For preset sports like Table Tennis, the core scoring method is locked. You cannot change how rounds are scored, how the match winner is decided, or the score input type. Only the numeric values, draw policy, round names, and score limits can be edited.

Entering match results

When logging a match, you'll enter the score for each set. The form enforces your configured target score, win-by margin, and sets-to-win requirements.
